Lecanora caesiorubella

All species of the  Lecanora genus have single-celled spores. Although some species have distinct size or shape differentials. many of the members within this group have very similar spore size ranges and shape. This often makes this character less definitive than for other genera. Other characters such as apothecial disk color plus the size and shape of crystals in the margin and hymenium of apothecia (or their absence) are more reliable traits.
