Gyrostomum scyphuliferum

This member of the Graphidaceae family is unusual in that it has round cuplike apothecia rather than the usual long and narrow linear shaped  lirellae typical of most other members. (See Graphis librata). The thallus when wet is bright green but brownish-green or grayish when dry.
